Industrial Designer: Design and develop products from concept to manufacturing through sketches, renderings, and computer-aided drawings.

Graphic Designer: Created identity and brand graphics for clients. Designed business cards and signage. Created print advertising to be used in local newspapers. Interfaced with vendor to achieve timely project completion.

Wu’s Original Tradings, Inc. (Advertising Division) – Summers 98-00; 2001-4

Graphic Designer: Designed advertising graphics for promotional products in a fast paced production environment. Designed company product catalogs, brochures, and other marketing collateral. Consulted and recommended the design, type, and colors for ads. Distributed work to ensure that each designer can complete projects with speed, accuracy, and to the satisfaction of company and client.

Business Development: Managed accounts for several hundred clients. Analyzed and recommended directions for growth of company. Sourced suppliers and updated promotional product line annually. Recruited and trained three graphic design new hires.

Wu's Original Tradings, Inc. (Jewelry Division) – 2000, Sept. 2001 - Dec. 2003

Sales: Conducted business in tradeshows, local showroom, direct, and through the internet. Realized client needs, assisted clients in purchases, negotiated prices, and fulfilled orders.

Business Development: Collaborated with C2-Studios, Inc. to bring the first major redesign of the company website. Decided role of website in company business, and provided content and images of jewelry. Maintained website to keep information up to date.

Photographer: Produced attractive and optimal quality images for print and website catalogs.

Graphic Designer: Created full color 24 page jewelry catalog, including font choice, layout, and product photography. Created new branding on business cards, letterheads, and envelopes. Interfaced with press vendor to ensure likeness of design with finished result.

SoMA Inc. – Mar. 2001

Industrial Design Intern: Developed 2-D and 3-D sketch concepts of the SonicBlue Rio Riot MP3 player through sketches and foam models. Participated in concept development session.

Institute of Complex Engineered Systems – Spring & Fall 1999

Industrial Design Team Leader: Established project grounds of laser measuring device by defining and carrying out user research. Successfully reduced form factor of previous design by working with the engineering team. Delivered 2-D design and non-functioning prototype.
