Scriblet is an educational and organizational product for the Gen. Y market, it appeals to the Gen. Y student with its handy forms for student environments and personalize-able screen covers. While research was a team effort, the concept design is my individual work. Project Co-sponsored by Compaq Computer Corp. (Spring 2000). |

Defining our user by using both secondary and primary research, I learned that Gen Y grew up with the internet, typically 13-21 years of age. Although I had a variety of information, not all Gen Y are the same so I created a "User Profile" image board filled with objects, images, colors, and lifestyles representing Gen Y. |

internet access allows user to conduct research activities easily, whether
it is finding materials in library or online database. Classroom: more than just a notepad, students can access supplemental
course materials; teachers can beam coursework to students. Workgroups: multiple Scriblets can share and organize group work; online tutorials provide add. class assistance. |

Form development strongly based on user research feedback. Questions asked: What would you do with the cover? Is it appealing? Which orientation would you like to use? How would you use the device? |
