From digital concept to a physical form, stereolithography rapid prototyping compressed the time it would take to create this form by traditional means. Using silicone casting and RTV molding, several resin duplicates were created from the original SLA part. After curing, the duplicates were finished in metallic paint and mounted on an IKEA drawer unit. |
